     If you have any special talents, experience, knowledge or interest and would like to do a panel we would like to hear from you! Please consider that this is an anime type convention so the subject matter for your panel should fall somewhere under:
  • Music(Jpop, Jrock, Jhiphop, Oshare, Ska)
  • Tokusatsu
  • Sentai
  • Gaming
  • Yaoi
  • Fashion
  • Cosplay
  • Language
  • Anime
  • Manga
  • Etc...

How To Become A Panelist... 

     Simply fill out the Panelist Application form below and then click submit. All panelist applications must be received by October 1st, 2008 October, 20th, 2008 to be considered for this year. You must be pre-registered for Dotcon the entire weekend before applying to do a panel.

     If you host three or more panels at Dotcon, we will include $5 off your weekend registration with the approval of your application.


Schedule 

     We will make every effort to schedule your panel(s) at the suggested time(s). However, in the event multiple applications are received requesting the same time slot, the first received application will be given that requested time frame.


Content 

     The content of your panel or workshop will be reviewed by our head of panels. Please ensure that the panel you are running is family friendly if you are planning on running it during the day. We request that if your application is approved that your panel remains on topic with what you have specified on this application. If we receive complaints, we reserve the right to close or cancel your panel(s).


Equipment 

     Dotcon will provide the equipment for the basic operation of the panel, this equipment includes: DVD player, projectors/screen combo, speakers, microphones (upon request) and a Black/White board and dry erase marker. Any further equipment needs is at the sole responsibility of the panelist.


Deadline 

     The application deadline for panelists is October 1st, 2008 October, 20th, 2008, all applications MUST be in by this date to be considered.
